End of year update from your President Max

As the first semester comes to a close, I’m sure we can all agree it’s been an exciting few months! It’s been great to see so many of you on campus since September, and I hope you’ve enjoyed it as much as we’ve enjoyed providing activities, events and forums for you to take part in. 

For me, this also marks six months as President of the Union. I’ve had a very insightful time and have found it fulfilling to begin to understand and tackle some of the incredible challenges we face as a Union and a University. I look forward to the next six months and aim to implement and push for so much more.or you! 

I’m not concerned about potential future Covid-19 restrictions, and I’m confident that with your support, we will continue to prevail. Always do get in touch if you have concerns or worries, have a great winter break; we’re all looking forward to seeing you again in the New Year with full optimism for 2022
